Dear Summer,

Why must you break up with me every year?????  I will always cherish these memories...

Celebrated my niece Whitney's college graduation.

Took lots of walks with my friend Mrs. Shafer and her totally adorbs son Max. How about THAT for a summer nap?

Did a little redecorating on my condo.
Counselor for a week at this camp for foster kids. Man was I tired! But it was fun!

Was the bible teacher at two TRAC camps for foster kids.

Hiking and canoeing at Lost Lake near Mt. Hood with my sister Laurie.

Had to do some reading to get ready for the school year.

Love me some Zumba dance class!

One of my favorite parts of summer is picking wild flower boquets.

My rotten cat, Zoe, about drove me insane with all the kitty presents she brought me. I cleaned up more mouse guts than I care to talk about. And don't EVEN get me started on the TWO bunnies she killed. Sigh.

Then there's Gracie and Dora who spent their summer napping. Actually, I did too.

My first time camping EVER -- on the Clackamas River at McIver Park.

My friends and me at church -- camping style.

Having fun on my new scooter!

Oh, Summer. You were so wonderful! I'll miss you!

Love,
Miss Mickus :)
